Books Are Still Cool has a first ever – this month’s book’s author himself will host the book discussion!!! Jon A. Logan, author of Why Me? Why Not Me!, is presently serving with the US armed forces in Latvia at Lielvārde.
About the book: “Decades of poor choices, dealing with tragedy, substance abuse, professional and personal challenges led to radical changes in thought. Jon has taught many principles in this book to thousands of individuals and continues to make a difference in people’s lives each day.”

How to participate:
- Be among the first eight people to email ircriga@state.gov and provide your name, email, and phone number.
- If you are one of the first eight, you will receive a reply from me, Nils, and then you can pick up your book at the JFK Reading Room at the Latvian National Library, or the shop Art Nouveau Riga, Strēlnieku Iela 9 from 11:00 to 18:00 daily, including Sat. & Sun. But you have to pick it up in 5 days otherwise it goes to the next in line.
- Read the book!
- On Wednesday, the 31st of January at 18:00 meet with the group at the John F. Kennedy Reading Room in Latvian National Library, Mūkusalas Street 3, 3rd floor and be ready to participate in open and informal discussion. Refreshments will be served!
