Books Are Still Cool!

Hello all avid readers. We have a great books for January – BUSTED – A Tale of Corruption and Betrayal in the City of Brotherly Love, by Pulitzer Prize winners Wendy Ruderman and Barbara Laker. Lisa Scottline wrote of the book, “Busted reads like a turbocharged thriller, and the more compelling because it’s true.”

We had hoped to get this in December as December 9th is International Anti-Corruption Day, but the mail was a bit late. Nevertheless we still think this book is a worthwhile read and former Latvian MP Rasma Kārkliņa and Illinois University political science professor will join the discussion!
