Books Are Still Cool

Hello all avid readers.

We are back with one book for this Olympic summer!!! What at first seemed like an ideal location, Rio, is now beset with troubles and controversy. We thought an appropriate book would take a look back at another Olympiad beset with controversy; hence, this summer’s book is Nazi Games – The Olympics of 1936.

To help facilitate the discussion our guest reader will be the former Latvian Ambassador to the United States, and present Chairman of the Saeima’s Committee on Foreign Affairs – Ojārs Kalniņš.

What’s in it for you?
  • A free, new hardcover book, yours to keep, and an opportunity to discuss its contents with other avid readers in English!
