Riga, March 27, 2015 – U.S. Special Envoy for Holocaust Issues Nicholas Dean will make an official visit to Latvia March 31 – April 2 to discuss the ongoing process of restitution of Holocaust-era Jewish communal and religious properties. He will meet with officials from the Prime Minister’s office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of Parliament, the diplomatic corps, and the Latvian Jewish community. He will also visit the Rumbula memorial, Salaspils concentration camp, and the Zanis Lipke memorial.
