Riga, October 14, 2015 – U.S. Deputy Assistant Trade Representative (DAUSTR) for Small Business Christina Sevilla will visit Riga October 14-17. While in Latvia, DAUSTR Sevilla will meet with representatives from local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and with senior government officials, including from the Saeima and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On October 16, DAUSTR Sevilla will take part in an event on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (T-TIP) hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce to highlight the opportunities with T-TIP for jobs and economic growth for Latvian and U.S. SMEs. DAUSTR Sevilla’s visit is part of a regional trip that includes stops in Paris and Helsinki to hear the views of SMEs.
