Riga, January 20, 2016 – The Deputy Commanding General of U.S. Army Europe, Major General William Gayler, and the Deputy Commanding General of the 4th Infantry Division, Brigadier General James Mingus, will visit Riga January 20-21. Major General Gayler and Brigadier General Mingus will meet with the Latvian Chief of Defense and Lieutenant General Raimonds Graube, participate in the Barricades Commemoration, and visit with U.S. and Latvian Soldiers at the Ādaži military base.
