Riga, February 17, 2016 – The U.S. Sixth Fleet Commander Vice Admiral James G. Foggo, III, will visit Latvia on February 17-18. During the visit VADM Foggo will meet with the Chief of Defense, Lieutenant General Raimonds Graube, and other Latvian Ministry of Defense officials to discuss the annual multinational exercise BALTOPS and regional security issues. While in Latvia, VADM Foggo will visit the National Defense Academy, the Latvian Naval Patrol Boat Piers and will tour the Latvian Naval Skrunda Patrol Craft “P-08 Jelgava”.
