Riga, April 3, 2019 – U.S. Ambassador Nancy Pettit will make an official visit to Daugavpils and Rēzekne from April 3-5. During her visit to Daugavpils, Ambassador Pettit will meet with Daugavpils Mayor Andrejs Elksniņš and City Council officials.  She will also meet with civil society representatives, visit the Embassy’s American Center at the Latgale Regional Library, and tour the Mark Rothko Art Center. While in Rēzekne, Ambassador Pettit will meet with Rēzekne Mayor Aleksandrs Bartaševičs, the Rēzekne Youth Council, and visit Rēzekne State Gymnasium No. 1.
